This time three years ago a few friends and I went on a BMX trip to Scotland. This year, with a few substitutions, we decided to do a similar trip.
We wanted to go further north, see more wild places and stay more nights, thinking we were better prepared. Unfortunately Scotland decided otherwise. It tried very hard with the driving rain, but ultimately a leaking turbo on Dale’s van leaves here an incomplete documentation of an incomplete trip.
Thanks to Gavin from the AA we managed two nights in Scotland, plus one more night closer to home, albeit somewhere I hadn’t been in 7 years.
